Horticultural Hall, in Fairmount Park, is noted for its
fine collection of tropical and semi-tropical plants. The
conservatory measures 230 x 80 feet and is 55 feet high.
The magnificent fern trees and other tropical plants
which delighted visitors during the Centennial, are still
kept here.
