| The Only building erected from the original plans of the Arsenal and designated as "Storehouse A." Started under the Arsenals first commandant, Major Kingsbury, completed under the second, General Rodman. The stone came from quarries in Le Claire, Iowa, 15 miles upstream. Completed in 1867, the first issues of Arsenal Ordinance Meteriel were made from here. |
