| Old Fashioned sweet-sour cole slaw. 1½ pounds shredded green cabbage. 1 teaspoon salt. ? cup sugar. ? cup vinegar. 1 cup whipping cream. Place shredded cabbage in covered dish in refrigerator for several hours. Mix ingredients in order given 30 minutes before serving. chill and serve. This old fashioned country hotel was established in 1870. One main course, fried chicken, is served with generous portions of hot biscuits, cole slaw and homemade vanilla ice cream. |
