Old St. Paul's Church, 201-33 Church Street

OLD ST. PAUL'S CHURCH, 201-33 Church Street, Nor- folk, Va. Built 1739. One of the few buildings not to- tally destroyed by fire caused by bombardment from Lord Dunmore's British fleet on January 1, 1776. Church was struck by cannon shot during the bombardment and the ball is embedded in cement in the spot where it struck.
