FORT PECK DAM & POWERHOUSES
The Fort Peck Reservoir on the Missouri River is
a magnificent lake containing 19,412,000 acre feet
of water, has 1600 miles of shoreline offering
excellent recreational facilities to a large area of
Eastern Montana. The Dam is an earthen structure,
250.5 feet high and 21,026 feet long. Gigantic
twin powerhouses in this recent scene combine to
generate nearly a billion kilowatt hours or
