Municipal Auditorium, a $3,000,000 struc- ture built by the City of Memphis and Shelby County. The Auditorium occupies an entire block in the heart of down town. Its mammoth amphitheater seats 12,500. It can be divided into two halls, one for 6,500, the other for 2,500. There are excellent facilities for enter- taining great national conventions.
