Series 5615 The building of the Copper River & Northwestern Railway made Cordova a terminal which led to the development of a thriving city. The shipment of copper ore from the Bonanza Mine is a contributing factor in the success of the district, but the looked-for extension of the railway to the coal fields and placer camps of the interior will add fresh impetus to the progress and population of Cordova. |
