Horyu-ji temple was established by Shotoku-Taishi (Prince Shotoku). The importance of this temple is to store not only the excellent hisrotical articles of Asuka era. But other materials telling the history in later. It is really one of the greatest storage of the treasures of art of the eras. The five story tower is one of the treasures and this 18 ft. sq. and 105 ft. high tower is magnificent and refined enough to make people feel it being imortal
