The Canadian national railways is placing in its fast passenger and freight service this year, on Canadian and United States lines, fifty-two of the new 6100 class locomotives, similar to that which handled the royal train of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales on his entry into Toronto, August 6th, Speed capacity, 80 miles per hour; weight, 326 tons; length, 94 feet 6 inches.
