Great Falls on the G. F. & Old Dominion Ry., 14 miles above Georgetown, the largest south of Niagara, are great by nature and of historical interest. Here Washington built a flour mill and foundry, now in ruins; and around it a canal, still intact, though overgrown with large trees.
