French physicist-turned-artist Bernard Gitton's tribute to the
poetic notion that "time flows" stands as the centerpiece in The
Children's Museum of Indianapolis Welcome Center. Gitton's
towering water clocks are found in major cities around the world
and are the only water clocks to incorporate a pendulum. The
water clock was made possible through a contribution by Mr. and
Mrs. Richard D. Wood.
