GROTTO INFORMATION
The Grotto of the Redemption, under construction since 1912, portrays
the life of Christ in ornamental stone. Built by Rev. P. M. Dobberstein.
The Grotto is frequently considered "the Eighth Wonder of the World."
100,000 visitors annually. Has a geological value of over $2,500,000.
Free Systematic tours from June 1 to October 15. (Every hour on the
hour).
See the Grotto at night under spot lights. 18 Unit Motel one block
from Grotto.
Sunday Masses: 7:00 & 9:00 A.M.
Grotto Restaurant and Grotto Souvenir Stand on grounds.
The Grotto is open every day of the year. A 50¢ (adult) and 25 (chil-
dren) donation is requested.
