The largest structure in the center foreground is the Railway Exchange Building. To its rear the two tallest structures are the Southwestern Bell Telephone company Building and the Civil Courts Building. To the left of the latter is the new United States Court and Customs House. These two are located on St. Louis Memorial Plaza which is also visible with soldiers Memorial, the low columned structure in its center. To the right of the latter is the Missouri Pacific Railroad Building, and on the left of the Plaza may be seen the Municipal Auditorium. Further on, is the new United States Post Office, a gleaming white structure adjacent to the Union Station, the long sheds of which are visible over the Post Office roof
