Chicago Temple (First Methodist) located in the heart of the "Loop," is the world's tallest church. It has occupied its present site for 107 years. The spire, Flood lighted at night, is one of Chicago's most inspiring sights. The chimes are heard throughout the downtown area. The air-conditioned sanctuary accommodates 1200 worshippers, with additional seating provided in the chapel. The organ, complete with an echo organ and 6300 pipes, is considered one of the largest and best in the country. Visitors from an average of thirty states worship here every Sunday.
