vicinity, the new federal building constructed at
a cost of $2,550,000, is a graceful complement
to the area surrounding Lafayette Square and
has become an imposing part of New Orleans'
increasing skyline. Occupying as it does almost
an entire side of the park area, the new building
adds the final note of dignity to the vicinity.
