Removing ash of "Ash Sunday" proved a chore to residents and travelers in Washington, Idaho and Montana. As particle and surgical masks supplies were depleted, homemade masks appeared, made of bandanas, coffee filters, and stockings. The stubborn ash clung to clothes, and swirled up from cars moving at a crawl. The ash cloud will circle the globe for 2 years, enriching sunsets |
