St. Petersburg's new BAYFRONT CENTER was
officially dedicated on May 1st, 1965. The five
million dollar auditorium-arena located off 4th
Avenue and Bayshore Drive South, consists of a
theatre and arena which is used for public ice-
skating, as well as professional ice shows and
other events. The beautiful theatre is used for
symphonies, television shows as well as many
other activities.
