Additional Details:
A Million dollar traffic distribution system with ramps, overpasses and viaducts, resembling a roller coaster spreads out traffic to and from the San Fransisco-Oakland Bay Bridge at the Oakland Shore Approach. The length of this structure with its 16 separate grade crossings is 8500 feet. Traffic is distributed in three directrions, without necessitating a left hand turn or a right-angle crossing. Large illuminated signs direct motorists "To Oakland" - "To Berkely" - "To Alameda" - "To Richmond" - "To Sacramento" - "To San Francisco" - etc.
