Series C-181 The Bakersfield Civic Auditorium was opened in 1962 at a cost of $5,500,000.00. The theater will seat 3,250 people for stage shows. The 29,000 ft. of arena area will hold 205 8 x 10 booths. When the area is used for ice hockey and sport shows it will seat 7,500 people. Bakersfield is the county seat of Kern County and is located on the bank of the Kern River and at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley |
