A Greek sponge diver prepares for a trip to search
for sponges at the mouth of the Anclote River. Tour-
ist excursion boats, such as the one seen here,
make continuous trips daily so visitors may see
the diver descend and return with sponges. This
is one of the many interesting sights in Tarpon
Springs, Florida.
