Shepperds Dell is one of the most picturesque points
along the highway. Its discovery came when it seemed
impossible to get by the point of a high mountain in no
other way. The Shepperds Dell Bridge is 140 feet above
the stream, which is spanned with a reinforced concrete
arch 100 feet long, the total length being 150 feet.
