Montpelier, Vermont
Home of the Vermont Historical Society Museum
and Library, Governor's Office and other state
agencies. The present structure is the third since
Montpelier was chosen the Capital in 1805. The
second building was demolished in 1970 followed
by the reconstruction of the old Victorian Pavilion
around a modern office interior. To the left is
the Vermont Supreme Court and Library Building.
