Mark Twain (Samuel L. Clemens) 1835-1910
literary genius immortalized Hannibal, Mo. on
the Mississippi. The home his father built in
1844 and the Museum are visited yearly
the rooms and viewing various exhibits,
such
as the author's typewriter, cob pipe, Knygte 44
chair, letters, pictures, etc. The Mark Iwain
Museum was opened to the public on Noy1060 MM
1937 and kept open the year 'round
with
no admission charge.
