Here the great inventor developed his most
significant contributions to science and modern
convenience the electric light, the phono-
graph, the microphone and the telephone
transmitter among them. The laboratory has
been restored just as Edison knew it when
he worked there three-quarters of a century
ago. Part of the extensive collection of Edison
material in Greenfield Village and
Museum, the Menlo Park Laboratory is one
of the focal points of the exhibit.
