LAMY, the junction point for Santa Fe, is situated eighteen miles southeast of Santa Fe and midway between the two largest cities of New Mexico, Albuquerque and Las Vegas. The hotel, built of adobe brick, after the Spanish and Mexican styles of a hundred years ago, is indeed quaint and picturesque. The name, "Los Pinos," is after Don Pedro Bautista Pino, one of the most influential citizens of New Mexico during the early part of the nineteenth century
