The church building is one of the most famous on
the Pacific Coast. Its great tower and sanctuary dom-
inate Highland Ave. in the heart of Hollywood. The
Gothic lines and stained glass windows of the sanc-
tvary create an atmosphere of reverence in symbolic
beauty and compelling stillness. The strong voice of
the Martindale carilion chimes is heard over the city
at noon and 6:00 P.M. daily.
