The Black Angus
148 East 50th St., New York
The "BLACK ANGUS" is a highly specialized beef
producing animal stemming from the Aberdeen-Angus
breed of cattle. As the name implies the hides of these
animals are pure black. They are identified by their
short legs, hornless heads and straight broad backs.
This breed has gained steadily in demand by high
quality beef cattle ranchers since its entrance into the
country in 1873 from Scotland. It has proven to be the
finest producer of prize beef known to cattle raisers in
this country. The number of champion bulls, steers and
cows which came from this breed are innumerable.
We have selected the champion in his class and in-
tend to serve only the choicest meats at the "BLACK!
ANGUS."
