electronics, photography, and chemistry-metallurgy,
Sylvania Electric Products Inc., a subsidiary of
> General Telephone & Electronics Corporation, is
one of the two largest manufacturers of television
picture tubes. At the headquarters of Sylvania's
Picture Tube Operations in Seneca Falls, the
company designs, develops and manufactures a
wide variety of television picture tubes and other
cathode ray tubes for specialized_industrial and
military applications. The Seneca Falls plant em-
ploys more than 1,200 men and women with an
annual payroll exceeding six and one-half million
dollars.
