OLD MARKET & TOWN HALL GEORGETOWN, S. C.
Rebuilt in 1842, on site of old slave market the present
structure is an exact brick replica of the old wooden
market building destroyed in the Hurricane of 1822 The
unusual building has been used a city hall, market jail,
printing shop, and is now the office of the Georgetown
Chamber of Commerce and polled depantymat Ferguson
