THE ALCAZAR HOTEL, ST. AUGUSTINE, FLA.
Opposite the Ponce de Leon stands the Alcazar,
preserving, as does the entire group of palace
hotels, the eclat of the Spanish occupancy of
Florida, in both their architecture, furniture and
names. It was built as an annex to the Ponce de
Leon, whose popularity was immediate and over-
whelming. The special features of the Alcazar are
its immense pools and dancing pavilions.
