Adena was the home of Thomas Worthington, Ohio's sixth governor. Born and raised in Virginia, he settled in Chillicothe, Ohio, in 1798. Here, in 1806-07 he built Adena, his home until his death twenty years later. The house and plantation have been restored by the Ohio Historical Society. |
