The Union Printers' Home, established in
1891, was the first national institution for the
building of health to come to the Pike's Peak Re-
gion. The Home is maintained by the Interna-
tional Typographical Union and includes both a
sanatorium for tuberculosis and a home for the
aged. It is situated upon a rise slightly east of
Colorado Springs where from its beautiful grounds
a magnificent view of the mountains offers itself.
