Since 1932 SWALLUM HOSPITAL, Storm Lake,
Iowa, (4 stories, 94 rooms) has been Campbell Heated.
In 1936 Dr. Swallum wrote the School at Centerville,
lowa, that he would buy the Campbell System again.
The Centerville School bought the Campbell. In 1940
the Ottumwa School Board inspected steam heater
in Centerville High School but because the Superin-
tendent recommended the Campbell System in the
Grade School, Ottumwa Board bought the Campbell
System.

In 1943 the Superintendent of Buildings at Ottumwa,
said Campbell System was doing a fine job. The fuel
cost about $4.00 per thousand cubic feet per winter-
was about the same as steam in High School. Both are
ventilating jobs; High School has a stoker. If Camp-
bell was stoker fired, it would use only about three-
fourths as much fuel as steam plant.
If you get the Campbell System you get the best.
