The Fountain Paint Pot is a boiling cauldron of
tinted clay about 40 by 60 feet in size situated
near the highway not far from the Fountain Geyser.
Smaller paint pots are not uncommon in the Park,
but except for the large one at West Thumb the
others are of minor importance.
