This awe inspiring view was made from
the foot of the south side of Shoshone Falls
during high water season. The drop of this
great cataract is 45 feet greater than Niagara.
Vast tracts of adjacent farms are annually
irrigated from Snake River during crop season
which greatly reduces the volume of the falls.
