"Little Bertha," the world's most talented
performing elephant has been trained from her
infancy by Jenda Smaha, a member of a three
generation circus family. The 16 year old In-
dian pachyderm weighs 4,700 lbs. and is fed
a daily diet of a bale of hay, rolled oats, carrots
and 30 gallons of water. Jenda presents "Little
Bertha" nightly in the Circus Room Theater
