This house, known as the Key Mansion,
was the home of Francis Scott Key, author
of our national anthem “The Star Spangled
Banner.” It is located at 3518 M St., N.W.,
between 35th and 36th Sts. Its maintenance
is effected by popular subscriptions of 15
cents each. All persons subscribing thereto
are entitled to a membership in the Francis
Key Association with no further dues.
