The Bowery is a narrow street running parallel with the
beach. It is entirely occupied by moving picture shows,
restaurants and all kinds of amusement devices and is the
most popular thoroughfare at this great resort. During the
season it is crowded with visitors from all parts of the world.
It is estimated that half a million people visit the Bowery daily.
