THE MASONIC TEMPLE ASSOCIATION was incorporated July 1921; site purchased May 15, 1922; area of lot 247.6 by 330 feet; funds assured and plans accepted March 1926; ground broken July 29, 1926; corner-stone laid Nov. 5, 1926; building dedicated Nov. 20, 1927, and occupied the same month. The building is 186.5 by 132 feet; architecture, Egyptian; owned by the masonic organizations and occupied by them and appendant bodies; headquarters Grand Lodge. Auditorium seats 1,400; banquet Hall 1,000. It has Lodge rooms and the largest Masonic Library in the intermountain region Curt Teich & Co |
