Additional Details:
Located in Lawrence Twp-Washington County, #27 still stands just East of S.R. 26. This timber crossing was built by Rollin Meredith, a contractor from Marietta, Ohio 1877. The 126' Howe Truss derived its name from one of the first families, the Hunes, who settled along the Little Muskingum 1871 at Lawrence, Ohio. A town now extinct.
