THE GEORGE A. POSEY TUBE,
is the largest pre-cast subaqueous vehicular
tube in the world, passing under the Oakland-
Alameda estuary it connects the Cities of
Oakland and Alameda. It is 4,437 feet long
and can care for 4,225 vehicles an hour. Con-
sidered one of the greatest engineering feats
in America.
