Dinosaur Park, located on the hills overlooking
Rapid City, contains five full sized reproductions
of prehistoric animals who lived millions of years
ago in what is now the Black Hills of South
Dakota. Constructed of cement these replicas
are as nearly as possible faithful reproductions
both as to form and size, and comprise a unique
and interesting display, the only one of its kind
in the United States. The picture on the other
side shows the Triceratops, measuring 27 feet
in length and 11 feet high. The dog at the
base gives a very good comparison as to size.
