BUCKSKIN JOE Mining Town, near Canon City,
Colorado, is a reconstruction of authentic log build-
ings dating back to Colorado's early frontier history
of the 1860's. Shades of the Old West are vividly
portrayed on the board walks of Main Street as
bearded, buckskin characters and gayly dressed
women in long skirts and sunbonnets relive the
spirit of early pioneer days and add much enjoy-
ment to the atmosphere which actually existed
