The County Seat of Cheboygan County, located on
the Cheboygan River and bordered by the Straits
of Mackinac and Lake Huron. This is the shopping
center for an extensive summer resort area and
fishing and hunting enthusiasts. Is also becoming
ån important location for small industries. In the
right central section may be seen a portion of what
was once the largest saw dust pile in the world,
and now a reminder of Cheboygan's active lumbering
days.
