EDUCATION

The Center, located at 33rd and Holdrege Streets
in Lincoln, is designed to house, feed, and provide
meeting rooms for adult conferences and youth
programs, as well as visiting officials, guests, and
friends of the University. Its facilities include 98
double hotel rooms and dormitory accommodations
for 400 persons; a public dining room, a cafeteria,
and banquet rooms with a total capacity of 1200;
10 adult conference rooms, a large auditorium, and
youth meeting rooms with a total capacity of 1400
seats. The Center was financed by a $1.5 million
grant from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation with
matching funds donated by the thousands of friends
and alumni of the University of Nebraska.
