KAKABEKA FALLS YD
"The Niagara of the North"
Green Mantle, lovely daughter Abitan Ojibway
Chief, was captured by her tribe's enemies, The
Sioux. She was forced to guide the linders, who
intended to secretly steal upon the gojibway tribe.
Realizing their scheme she Ved them instead over
the mighty Kakabeka Falls where the attackers
were dashed to death on the
rocks Aelow. In the
confusion Green Mantle swam to safety. Today,
visitors to the 128 foot Falls can hear the rumbled
anger of the Sioux; in the mist floats the spirit
of Green Mantle.
