BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. – The all-systems test model of
the S-II (second stage of the Saturn V space vehicle),
known as the S-II-T, is lowered into its test stand at
NASA's Mississippi Test Facility in Hancock County,
Mississippi, where it was first static fired April 23, 1966.
From Mississippi, the S-11 flight stages will be shipped
by barge to Cape Kennedy, Florida for launch.
