| Grown on reclaimed surface mined lands in southeastern Ohio, fifty-seven 12-foot tall red pine trees will be placed for the 1969 Christmas season in the Pageant of Peace in the President's Park between the White House and the Washington Monument. The trees, donated by Ohio Power Co. of the American Power System, each represent the 50 states and the U.S. territories |
