This opulent farm building and silo, built by Col. Samuel Pomeroy Colt, was used to hold lavish parties for friends and relatives such as his daughter-in-law Ethel Barrymore. Actor "Buster" Crabbe also spent part of his childhood at Colt Farm as his father was a foreman for Col. Colt. Colt State Park contains approximately 475 acres and features; picnic areas on the bay, playfields, horse trails, bicycle path, boat launching ramp, and fishing in Narragansett Bay
