Additional Details:
The Twin Lion Tableau derives its name from the two golden wood carved lions on the top platform. The entire upper section of the Twin Lion Tableau telescopes down into the body of the wagon when not in parade. Thus, the 17 1/2 foot high wagon is reduced in height by 6 feet for easier traveling over the road. Built around 1860 in England this vehicle was a star attraction for over 60 years. The magnificent wagon was presented to the Circus World Museum in 1968 by Bailey and Mary Fossett, owners of the Sir Robert Fossett Circus of Northampton, England
